Hi, I’m Bizzy!
Most people know me as Bizzy—a nickname from childhood that’s stuck through all of life’s twists and turns. I’m not only a recovery coach, but also a life coach and a health and wellness coach. I’ve walked through divorce, embraced 19+ years of sobriety, launched kids into adulthood, moved states, and found love again in a beautiful second marriage. Now in my 50s, I’m living proof that life doesn’t end—it evolves.
I started my career in TV, working at a CBS affiliate and guest hosting on QVC. I’ve always loved connecting with people—whether on camera or across a kitchen table. But my path wasn’t always clear. My relationship with alcohol nearly took everything from me.
Sobriety gave me my life back—and it gave me purpose. Since becoming a certified Recovery Coach in 2013, I’ve helped individuals and families navigate addiction, major life transitions, and second chances. I later expanded my work into life coaching and health & wellness coaching, because I believe in supporting the whole person—body, mind, and spirit. After a break, I’ve rebranded to It’s Bizzy and I’m more passionate than ever about walking alongside others as they reclaim their joy and discover what’s next.
That’s why I created It’s Bizzy, a podcast where we talk real life. From recovery and relationships to faith and fresh starts, I shine a light on the stories that move us forward. The Spoonbill, my logo, reminds me—and all of us—that peace is possible when we’re grounded in something greater.
If you want, I can also give you a tightened 2–3 sentence version of this for your social media bios so everything matches your new It’s Bizzy rebrand. Would you like me to do that?
